سيدنا أبو أيوب الأنصاري رضي الله عنه

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari was Khalid ibn Zayd ibn Kulayb, a Khazraji of Banu al-Najjar and a senior Companion. He participated at Badr; Ibn Ishaq also counted him among those at the second pledge of al-Aqaba. The Prophet stayed in his house upon arriving in Medina until the mosque and living quarters were built. Numerous Companions and Successors transmitted from him. Biographical sources describe his continued participation in campaigns until the expedition against Constantinople during which he died, while differing over the precise year.
